The quote is considered a new art form of postmodernity (from the end of the Cold War, 1989) and has become a feature of postmodern aesthetics. Quotation is a typical symbol of communication of our time, a kind of phenomenon of the zeitgeist. When quoting artistically, the word and / or image of another artist is adopted, alienated, reinterpreted. The quote is often a homage, a dedication and ideally a successful artistic dialogue in silence.
